Editorial standards
Firearms. People. Events.
Accuracy and attribution
Factual coverage should identify its sources, distinguish established information from claims, and explain material uncertainty. Legal coverage requires an identified jurisdiction, an authoritative source and a verification date.
Original work and transparent methods
Interviews must be real. Hands-on reviews must be supported by actual evaluation records. AI-assisted work must be checked, attributed and labeled where its use affects a reader’s understanding. Generated illustrations must not impersonate documentary photographs.
Independence and corrections
Paid placements are labeled. Advertising does not purchase a favorable review. Relevant commercial or personal connections should be disclosed. Readers may request corrections through the publication’s review queue.
