GUNFIRE MAGAZINE
Reviews & disclosure
Firearms. People. Events.
Evidence before conclusions
Product coverage must distinguish manufacturer specifications, source-based information and direct evaluation. A hands-on review should identify the tested model, method, duration, conditions, limitations and the source of the sample.
Disclose relationships
Loaned or retained equipment, advertising relationships, sponsorship and affiliate links must be disclosed where relevant. Paid placements are labeled separately from editorial coverage.
No invented tests or ratings
The publication’s opening review-methodology article is an explanatory guide. No product has been assigned a rating or represented as field-tested through that article. Product previews report verified manufacturer specifications without claiming hands-on experience. Review schema is reserved for genuine, documented reviews.
Products supplied for editorial consideration
Sample terms, return arrangements and image permissions must be agreed before acceptance. Editors record whether equipment was purchased, loaned or retained and disclose those relationships in published coverage. Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions.
